| When
should I order my wedding cake? As Rich Fruit cakes improve in both taste and texture with maturity, it is preferable to order your cake at least 6 months in advance, especially for the more unusual shapes. The summer months from May to August are particularly popular for weddings, so if yours falls in this period, it is advisable to book at least 12 months ahead to ensure the availability of your chosen date. However, if you have left it late do not despair! Some dates may still be available, so please do call - I will endeavour to fit you in if I can. |

| How
much do I need to budget for my cake? With cake designs varying so much in complexity, it is difficult to be specific about prices. However, you are welcome to view my selection of photographs on the 'Wedding Cakes' page which should give you some idea of costs. As a general rule, fresh flowers are a significantly less costly option than sugar flowers, avoiding the high labour content of very intricate detail and design. Large and complex sprays of sugar flowers may more than double the cost of your cake in some cases. However, they do provide an extremely elegant and sophisticated look for your cake and can be kept forever as a keepsake of your special day! How do I place my order? Delivery |
